Ancient Souls

The age of a soul depends on how many times that soul has reincarnated and how fast it has learnt life's lessons. Most people have heard of New Souls or Old Souls but a little known group of souls called Ancient Souls sometimes make an appearance in our lives. Here is the story of these complex little creatures...

A few months back I discovered a very select breed of souls. I hadn't come across them before and hadn't ever read a word on them or heard what they were all about. I was surprised by the energy these souls emitted too. These souls very quickly made themselves known to me as Ancient Souls.

I'm sure that most of you have heard about soul ages. Everyone's soul can be put into a soul age group and the groupings are usually categorised as New Souls, Child Souls, Young Souls, Mature Souls and Old Souls. Ancient Souls go beyond any of these groups and surpass the wisdom of Old Souls by a country mile. They are much, much older and wiser and are a completely different breed.

So who are they?...

Ancient Souls are souls who have already reached full enlightenment and who have joined with the Source (some call this The Universe, The Light or God). Ancient Souls completed their lives here on Earth a long, long time ago and have been at one with the Source ever since. Now it isn't usual for a soul to reincarnate again once they have reached full enlightenment but some just can't help themselves and their need to help others learn and grow. These are our Ancient Souls.

An Ancient Soul's purpose is to teach self-knowledge, deep grief and how to get through it. Doesn't sound so great does it?...but it does advance other souls very quickly. Dealing with and getting through deep grief does offer people a means to learn how to truly appreciate life, and during the process it does teach self-knowledge. This is the way of the Ancient Soul and the true love behind it is beyond our earthly comprehension to be honest.

Physically, Ancient Souls lead very short lives. You won't find an adult let alone anyone above the age of five or six who is an Ancient Soul. This is due to the fact that they have no need to learn any lessons in their current life. Their only purpose is to help others learn and grow with a quick and immediate lesson brought about by themselves. Ancient Souls most often die from birthing complications/stillbirth or unexpected, abrupt and devastating childhood illnesses. Not all cases are the workings of an Ancient Soul but a select few most certainly are. As I mentioned earlier the lessons they teach are very tough lessons for parents and loved ones.

You will never hear or see the death of an Ancient Soul in the news or media. They incarnate here for a short period and only intend to have an impact on the lives of a few. They don't need (and most certainly don't want!) publicity or knowledge of their presence being known to many. Unlike Old Souls they aren't babies and children who suffer from horrific accidents or beatings.  

Ancient Souls know what to expect in their current incarnation and are accepting of it. They know what to expect with regards to birth, life and death and have a desire to get their work done and be back in the spirit world as soon as possible. Walking the Earth once again after being joined with the Source for so long isn't an easy, or pleasant, task for any spirit!

Ancient Souls will more often than not reincarnate into a family which are blood descendants of theirs. Because families tend to hold a number of soul-mate connections throughout there's usually an old soul-mate connection for the Ancient Soul in there too. The reason that they reincarnate into a family of descendants and soul-mates is in order to get their family back on track with their soul advancement. It is a huge undertaking that is full of only pure love and kindness, although the lessons that Ancient Souls teach are very tough ones.

The families that these souls are usually born into are the families of Young or Mature Soul descendants. The souls of their parents will advance quickly after having the presence of an Ancient Soul in their lives as the lesson they provide is intense and immediately recognisable. Losing a child, especially one so young, is horrific for any parent as is the lesson of grief and adjustment that goes with it.

The parents of Ancient Souls are usually well equipped or have access to advanced medicines and medical care, which is the case for most families in western society. These parents are usually demanding on others and have no notion of having to fix things for themselves. They take life for granted and have a reliance on other people fixing things for them. The Ancient Soul teaches these parents that some things just are what they are and that no material or physical thing can intervene and fix things for them...most notably their broken heart which they must learn to fix themselves.
 
Ancient Soul’s look old for their physical age. Their facial features are small, as are their bodies, since their soul has no need to take up space in a larger physical body or to take attention away from others. They aren’t beautiful babies but they also aren’t ugly. Physically, everything about them is average.

Ancient Souls are quiet babies and children who come into the world already knowing what the reason for life is and having done it all before. They have no need to communicate much as they have nothing to learn from others. Their mere presence is all that is needed. Although Ancient Soul babies and children are easy to love, bond with and form an attachment to, they can also seem quite distant or aloof. Because they have come from the light of the Source people are easily attracted to them and their light, but their need to proclaim that love back isn’t necessary for them.

As little ones Ancient Souls have a tendency to almost roll their eyes at adults and others as if to say ‘Really? You have no idea and your problems are insignificant.’ They will go eerily quiet and listen to arguments between adults and watch everything from a detached distance. Nothing stirs or causes any emotions in them on the physical plane.
Ancient Souls will never act like spoilt brats or demand anything at all from their parents. At times their parents will feel like they're the ones asking too much of them. Ancient Souls don't use their senses much either so touch, taste, smell and hearing are only used to a limited degree.

As babies and children they are the easiest of all souls to look after and will only cry or make a slight fuss if their physical body is in jeopardy (such as if they are hungry). Their own feelings don't matter to them, only the feelings and reactions of others, so if they're left in a wet or pooped nappy for a while it isn't going to bother them one bit. Ancient Souls will also never cry, complain or get grumpy if they are tired. They tend to sleep a lot even though there is no need or desire for them to do so. They are here purely to help others so they have no reason to be awake and spend time learning lessons for themselves. The only time that you'll find them alert is when their parents or others need them to be awake.
 
In the presence of an Ancient Soul you will feel like you know nothing at all and that your IQ has dropped by 100 points. This is regardless of their physical age. They have knowledge of the Source which is beyond anything that we can comprehend. Their understanding of our minds, thoughts and needs is deep and they are all-knowing.

Ancient Souls are extremely rare and are the rarest of all the soul age groups. Although the lessons they teach are very tough lessons, they are deep down a beautiful and all-knowing soul group. To have an Ancient soul in your life, even though for only a short while, is a blessing beyond measure. How so you might ask?....Who would ever give up as much peace, serenity, love and completeness as a soul who has left their oasis in order to help you grow?...Now in my opinion that is true love and kindness.
