With an increasing number of people around the world presenting with long Covid, we’re staring down the barrel of a long-term health crisis that is going to require an increase in healthcare resources. This begs the question: are we considering all options including new-age treatments such as reiki? The benefits can't be explained scientifically, yet, but here’s why alternative treatments should be considered.

If you have experienced Reiki before then you will have an understanding of what it is, how it feels to receive Reiki and how it has benefited you personally. In a nutshell, Reiki is a safe and effective form of energy healing which uses life-force energy to balance and heal one’s whole being. For this blog post I wanted to concentrate on the history of Reiki since it is something which is often overlooked, misunderstood or which isn’t considered as important as the practice itself.
