Drug epidemics are plaguing our planet like we have never seen before. America is hooked on opioids, Australia and New Zealand are still trying to fight the spread of meth distribution and addiction, Russia is dealing with the flesh-eating drug Krokodil, and heroin is destroying locals in popular holiday destinations across the world. Prior to writing this article my questions were 'Why now?' and 'How do drugs affect the soul?'. Let’s look drug epidemics from a different angle: a spiritual angle. It’s not hard to find information on the role that drugs play in society nowadays. In fact, it’s a hard topic to avoid. There are various documentaries, numerous news reports, and hundreds of ongoing debates about drugs, the effect that they’re having on our communities and how to stop the crisis. Plus, we have an underlying culture of casual users throughout all levels of society.
What these stories haven’t covered, and what casual users don’t know, is the spiritual aspect involved in the problem: How drug addiction effects the soul. Information is vital in stopping something or curbing drug use behaviour, so, I thought I’d add my own two cents and share what I know in hope that it might help someone, somewhere, someday. (Just so we're clear: the intention of this blog post isn’t to point the finger at those who take drugs or who are currently in the midst of a drug addiction. The purpose is to prevent and educate in the hope of stopping more people from falling into the drug trap.) My interest in the current drug epidemics has been due to the extent of the problem and a curiosity in how a normal, functioning human being can go from contributing positively to society to becoming someone who is unaware or themselves, others and void of responsibility. Some of the more disturbing things that I have seen have been a real eye opener to how big, how real and how close to home the problem is. What is even more concerning for me is the rise in casual drug use and drugs being used to induce heightened spiritual states. It has been well documented, that certain drugs can heighten your sense of awareness and are an easy means to connect to the spiritual realm. Typically, hallucinogens do this, and they have been utilised by various tribes and societies for centuries as a means to connect to the Source, guides, angels and other entities. Native Americans used Peyote as their choice of drug, historically the Chinese took opium, and America chose LSD for their psychedelic experiences during the 60’s. There is no denying that these drugs and drugs which are currently trending offer an easy connection to the spirit realm. Though as we all know, what comes easy isn’t without its price. I liken it to ‘selling your soul to the devil’. It may seem like a good idea at the time, and you may reap the benefits for a short period, but in the long run the Universe will continue to work how it always has by enforcing balance. Drugs and the Defence System Spiritually, both prescribed and illicit drugs work to the extreme and alter the flow of the energy within the auric body field (the aura). Depending on the type of drug, it will either create a block between a person's auric body field and the spiritual realm, or it will cause the natural defence and protection system that our auric body field has in place to drop. Most prescribed medications and drugs will cause a block around the auric body field. A block around the auric body field is usually pretty safe as it simply blocks the outer auric body and the flow of energy in and energy out through the defence system. This is why most prescribed medications are usually pretty safe, don’t cause any harm to the mind and don't cause an altered mental state; if the dosage is correct. It is because of this block around the aura that psychics and intuitives temporarily lose their gift when taking prescription medication. On the other hand, most illicit drugs will cause a drop in the defence system around the aura. For causal drug users, the same effect applies. When an illicit drug has been taken for long enough, the outer shell of the auric body field starts to dissipate and breakdown. Without the defence system in place there's nothing to hold the energy of the aura together. This is when a drug addict will experience a loss of self, unawareness or lack of care towards themselves and others, mental illness, paranoia and other negative symptoms. All of which are caused by the aura no longer being intact. When an addict goes into recovery from drugs the withdrawal symptoms are not only caused by the physical adjustment in the body, but also through the adjustment of the aura back to its natural form. It’s a long process and one which takes the aura a while to do. Gathering all the energy, from all corners of the spiritual realm, back to one's auric field takes time. We’ve all heard of ‘bad hits’ and ‘good hits’ and this is also caused by the auric body field. A good hit connects the soul to the higher spiritual planes, where we can receive enlightened messages, feel euphoric and be closer to the Source. This is common to someone’s first experience with drugs. A person’s first time taking a drug will be amazing as it will be the first time that they have connected so with the upper spiritual planes. The upper spiritual planes will also welcome us with open arms too, but their ability to keep the lower vibration energy of a drug user in their field is impossible. A bad hit brings the soul down to the lower astral plane levels where all sorts of negativity and stale energy is present. Both the higher and lower planes leave an imprint on us mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. The brain isn’t designed to cope with a bombardment of information like this. Both the upper spiritual plane and lower spiritual plane connections and contact are caused by a sudden breakdown of the auric body field defence system. The Soul, Our Core As far as our soul is concerned, it cannot sit inside our body without the protective defence wall of the auric body field. Because the physical body becomes uninhabitable when on drugs, quite often the soul will leave the physical body, also known as an OBE (Out of Body Experience). Because the soul remains attached to the body throughout the drug experience, it becomes effected by the drug. Overtime this weakens the soul's power and causes it to remain outside of the body for longer periods, almost refusing or being unwilling to come back. Why can Experienced Shamans Take Drugs? Shamans who use hallucinogenic drugs to reach higher states of consciousness are careful in what drugs they use and how they use them. The practices have been passed down through generations and finetuned so that they don’t cause harm to the soul. This along with the fact that he drugs that Shamans use are very specific, cultivated in a specific way, and aren’t cut or mixed with any other drugs, make their drug taking experience much different. Their intentions when using these drugs are also pure. Shamans have a very high vibrating auric body field, one which the majority of everyday people don't possess. This is why they are special and why they have been chosen to be Shamans. A Shaman's higher vibrating auric body field is usually so close to the vibrations of the spiritual realm already that any drug taking doesn’t have a major effect on their auric body field or the soul. Someone who has raised their vibrational level so high, and their connection to the spiritual realm naturally, is simply going to have a different reaction to drugs than most ordinary people. When drugs are taken by everyday people to enhance their connection to the spiritual realm there's always going to be a catch. Yes, it is an easy way to connect to many different realms in the spirit world, and is far easier than meditating frequently or embracing clean eating for a period. But, usually the drugs are unclean, the intentions aren't pure and the person themselves is completely lacking in experience, high vibrational energy and understanding. The catch is the damage it does. It still produces a drop in the denfence system and a scattering of auric body field energy When a person chooses to meditate to connect to the higher realms, they are often protected by their guardian angels and guides, and their defence system is still in place to allow for filtering of messages and energy. The mind handles this much better as well. This type of trip is also subtle in nature and offers a light way on a long road to connect to the Source. Usually the Soul remains in the body when meditating and will slowly disengage, if ever. In contrast drugs offer a dark, short road which abruptly throws the user’s soul out of the body and into the spiritual realm. Why the Drug Epidemics Now? The ‘why now’ question regarding the drug epidemics has been the most fascinating of all, and once I answered this question it became apparent that drug epidemics aren’t going to subside any time soon. This coupled with the tenacity of dealers to get their product out to the market makes the crisis even more worrying. I have mentioned before that as a planet our soul population has stagnated and we are currently producing more new souls, child souls and young souls than ever before. (You can read about soul ages in my book The Souls of The Gifted Children). In fact, our young souls are choosing to remain young over too many lifetimes. Drug addictions are most commonly seen in these three youngest soul populations: new, child and young souls. Although mature souls are susceptible to drug dependency they tend to get 'lucky' and end up on prescribed drugs/medications instead. Some gifted children such as the indigo and crystal children are susceptible to drug addictions, but more often than not won’t go near them to start with. The ‘why now’ question is answered through viewing our current soul population. We are currently bottom heavy, meaning that the immature soul population is much larger than the older soul population. Without growth in our soul population we won't be able to curb any reckless interest and addiction to drugs. Just as it takes a community to raise a child, it will take collective conciousness to grow these souls. Hopefully with more information we can help curb drug use and addiction within our communities and grow our soul population overtime. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your knowledge on here. It really helps me vastly more than you may realize. Because I feel I just gained so much Clairity. Do you know how to find out what happened to you such as when you are trapped during a crossover and how to get the details of your experience (such as how you died, names, age, ect.) by chance? Also is there more on this subject in regards to getting someone who was sobar back into drugs and asking for the soul in sleep? Like a sold soul to the devil sort of situation.
