Our world is suffering and needs our help. Spirituality, whether it be new-age concepts or religion, can help fix the world's current state of disillusionment.
As a psychic, I see patterns emerge in readings that I do for others. For example, some of the past patterns I’ve seen included people finding their soulmates and leaving marriages (which was the case for many in 2018) or the ending of bad situations that had been hanging around for too long (2015). I also saw lots of ‘staying at home’ messages coming through for people in the second half of 2019 as we started to move closer towards 2020 and the start of the covid-19 pandemic.
At the moment I’m seeing stagnant energy in the general population. There’s disappointment and dissatisfaction with life. As though we need to progress in all areas of our lives but we can’t find the will to do so. All of this is also intertwined with anger, melancholy and obsessive emotional attachments that are hard to overcome. Humanity, it seems, is giving up.
One thing that is different now compared to previous decades, is that there is a distinct lack of spirituality. I’m not only talking about spirituality in a new-age sense but also spirituality in a religious sense too.
What both religion and new-age spirituality provide is a deep understanding of ourselves as well as our communities and other people. If you are on a pathway that encourages you to learn and discover new things about yourself and others then there is no stagnation in life. And once you’ve learnt who you really are and what a higher power brings to your life, your outlook becomes much more positive. This positivity can only grow as you learn more about it.
I saw a huge jump in people starting to develop their spirituality around 2018, but in 2022 and 2023 I’ve seen a noticeable drop. We have all been through a lot with the lockdowns and the pandemic and now it seems that hope is nowhere to be seen. There’s a sense of fear about looking too deeply at ourselves or finding out too much about ourselves.
Now more than ever we need hope to come back into our communities and we need people to find their connection to their personal spirituality. I can see the younger generations starting to suffer from a lack of connection to spirituality whether it be religion or new-age. They are also responding badly to the older generations having nothing to offer them in terms of a deeper understanding of life.
Without spirituality, we could end up in a situation where we can't connect to our fellow humans anymore. Tolerance of each other and our differences would go out the window too. If we can connect to ourselves and a higher power then we can accept the differences that are inherent in other people as we have a strong power and understanding to back our differences.
Forget the stigma around spirituality, new-age or religion. Once you start looking closer at yourself and the world, and forming a deeper connection with these aspects of life you’ll find a wealth of knowledge that can fix so much in our lives.
This is what spirituality encourages. This is what we need to bring back to our lives.
